StorPool listed on FT 1000: the sixth annual list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies

We’re excited to be listed on the FT 1000 report, the sixth annual list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies. This achievement is one of the many recognitions we gained in the past couple of years. We’ve become a trusted partner and a leader in storage solutions that helps numerous companies attain better performance and seamless work of their cloud infrastructures.

The FT 1000 is a report by Financial Times and Statista and ranks the fastest-growing European companies in the past year. This issue illustrates the changing fortunes of some sectors since the Covid pandemic took hold in 2020. According to the organizers, “the companies that made the final cut were sufficiently resilient — and, in some cases, lucky — to survive a collapse in demand caused by coronavirus restrictions, trade frictions due to Brexit, and a long-running global supply chain squeeze.” See more in the FT 1000 report.

StorPool Storage on the FT 1000

StorPool Storage was listed as the 413th fastest-growing company in Europe, next to successful European businesses that are fast-growing and thriving despite the obstacles they’ve faced in the past couple of years. The special report FT 1000, created by Financial Times and Statista, focuses on organizations that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2017 and 2020. Tens of thousands of companies from 33 countries were invited to participate in the project. The ranking was compiled with research company Statista across a broad range of sectors. StorPool achieved a CAGR during the queried timeframe of 69.29%. This was nearly double the minimum average growth rate – 36.5% – required to be included in this year’s ranking.

Constant growth and solution improvements

Recently, we have announced 30% YoY growth for 2021, 92% Net Promoter Score, and major solution updates. We’ve also published our latest Cloud Performance Measurement Report. The document benchmarks the cloud performance of well-known public clouds – Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoſt Azure, Linode and OVHcloud and compares them against Katapult, a StorPool-based public cloud.

In 2021, we also won “Storage Transformation Project of the Year” at the SDC awards 2021 for the project “Dustin Group replaces VMware and Hyper-V with a New-Age IT Stack powered by StorPool”. We were also nominated in 3 categories at the DCS Awards 2021.

About StorPool and how we change the way companies store data

StorPool helps businesses streamline operations and ensures that end-users experience fast and reliable services. Our storage systems are ideal for storing and managing the data of demanding primary workloads – databases, web servers, virtual desktops, real-time analytics solutions, and other mission-critical software. Under the hood, the primary storage platform provides thin-provisioned volumes to the workloads and applications running in on-premise clouds. The native multi-site, multi-cluster and BC/DR capabilities supercharge hybrid-and multi-cloud efforts at scale.

“The keys to our success involve a superior product, dedicated team and partners who help us supply leading technology solutions for global companies,” said Boyan Ivanov, CEO at StorPool Storage. “Whether locally, nationally, or across continents, StorPool delivers the ideal foundation for large-scale clouds running mission-critical workloads. We are pleased to have our hard work recognized by Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe. We believe our continued success will enable us to earn this recognition for years to come.”
